How do people come up with these clever ideas?

ZIPLOC OMELET

(This works great !!! Good for when all your family is together. The best part is that no one has to wait for their special omelet !!!)

Have guests write their name on a quart-size Ziploc freezer bag with permanent marker. (Rub-a Dubs are really permanent markers -some say they are, but they aren't.)

Crack 2 eggs (large or extra-large) into the bag (not more than 2) shake to combine them.

Put out a variety of ingredients such as: cheeses, ham, onion, green pepper, tomato, hash browns, salsa, etc.

Each guest adds prepared ingredients of choice to their bag and shake. Make sure to get the air out of the bag and zip it up.

Place the bags into rolling, boiling water for exactly 13 minutes [we did 15 minutes]. You can usually cook 6-8 omelets in a large pot. For more, make another pot of boiling water.

Open the bags and the omelet will roll out easily. Be prepared for everyone to be amazed.

Nice to serve with fresh fruit and coffee cake; everyone gets involved in the process and a great conversation piece.

Imagine having these ready the night before, and putting the bag in boiling water while you get ready. And in 15 minutes, you've got a nice omelette for a quick breakfast!!!

Mothers Day and What Nots!!!

My Mothers Day started out pretty good. The kids had gotten me gifts that they made me from school. Zach made me a Mothers Day bag and Abbie had me flower in a cup. The best gifts a mom could get made by her kiddos. Also I did not know that they had gotten me other gifts that there dad took them to get.

My Hubby got me 3 roses and the camo hat, my daughter picked the necklace out that says MOM and has a rose on it and its also a locket. My son got me the purple fishing rod. I LOVE MY FAMILY!!!!

Then we went and put roses on my mother in laws grave. We love and miss you very much. Then the hardest part for me was going to my moms grave and my grandmothers grave. I put the flower arrangements that dad wanted me to get for her. Abbie stuck a rose in the ground for her Great- Grandmother. We love and miss you mom (moo-maw) Its been 3 years since you were taken up to heaven and I miss you everyday.

Then after we got all the flowers I was treated to dinner at the restaurant "The Cattle Pen". It was so good. Then we went home and napped off the lovely dinner.

On Tuesday I get a call from my dad and he asks me if I have anything to do right now and I say not a thing. Well he is on his way back from Indiana and he had been fishing before he left. He wants me to come help him. Well Im going to warn you I am no girly girl. I love to get dirty. I love helping my dad filet fish. So you can tell..... thats my bloody hands fileting fish and may I add it was 145 fish of filets. It took us about 3 hours to finish all them fish. Im going to cook up the batch he gave me tomorrow and take some to my neighbors. Abbie got into taking pictures and also handling the fish. She had to pose with the piece of fish filet to show people. That is something that does not bother me at all!!!!

Such Bad News in A way!

I woke up this morning about 6:15 am to get the kids up and ready to catch the bus. They get on the bus and I lay back down for about an hour. At 9:00 am I have to get up and take my elder neighbors to the eye doctor and some other places. I got home and laid down again until my dad calls my cell and I remember I am supposed to call Barrow Eye Center for him. I did that before I answered my cell and they told me his regular glasses are in but his safety goggles are on back order and thats the ones he needs. Hes working out of town in Indiana so I call his cell back and tell him that and he says well aint that a crock of &*(^! LOL! It saved me from having to drive to Russellville today so I figured I would start on my blog.

I have been thinking all day where to start and stuff.

Hubby started his Physical Therapy today and went back to work also. He just called a little bit ago and said they gave him elctro therapy. He said it felt good. Then I get the call from our insurance company that my Jeep is total loss. =( Its sad but kids are getting bigger and 2 doors is getting so rough on me. Jason wants to keep it and try and fix it and I want to look for something better and bigger to haul all five of us around at once.

Well the kids just got home from school so Im off to listen to them argue. LOL!!!

First Ball games!

This is the day of April 25th my day started out real crappy I got a call from hubby at 6:10 am saturday morning. I answer and he says Im sorry hun but I was just in a wreck. I was like what and he said hunny I am so sorry your Jeep looks bad. He said I got rear-ended. I was like oh no! It was sad for a bit because I know I inherited that Jeep from my mom after she passed away.

Well after he got home he had to go to the ER and they did nothing for him, but I was not able to stay his friend came up there and sat with him. He would not let me stay he didn't want his daughter to miss her first SoftBall Game. Which was at 10 am I got her to the game and she put her shirt and hat on. Her team is called "HOT TAMALES" it is so cute.

This is her first time up to bat and I thought she would be scared cause they are batting off a pitching machine, but she swung that bat and the crack of the ball going down the field. I was so excited she made it to first base. She made it all the way around all the bases. I am so proud of her for hitting that ball the first time. They won 4-3! Woo Hoo!!!

We left the ball park and went home to get ready to go too my Aunt Lindas house in TN. I was tired and and exhausted. Jason stayed at home his back was bothering him real bad from the wreck. I went to my aunts house for a fish fry and most of the family was there. It was such a blast!

When I got home it was late and I was very tired.

Happy Birthday Son.... sorry it went down hill after!

Well I should have started this blog on April 11th 2009, but I have been so busy with kids playing ball.

Well to start saturday the 11th of April off. It was my sons 9th birthday and we had a party planned at Spinners. That morning I got the kids up and my step-son wanted me to take him to his mammal's house so I did. Then my 2 kids I took to a easter egg hunt. Which they did very well I might add.

Well after that Easter egg hunt we went back home and waited until about 1 p.m. they had another Easter egg hunt to go too. Which I am not very impressed with. Abbie is a bulldozer to get to the eggs and Zach is one that stands back and watches. He didnt do so well with this easter egg hunt and Abbie did.

Well after that we went to Long John Silvers and used one of the coupons that the kids got in their easter eggs at the Ag Center. Thats why I am not impressed with that easter egg hunt thats all the eggs had were coupons. We got done eating and went back home to get ready for Zach's Birthday Party. I stopped by wal-mart and picked up his cake.

Then the party started and he had a blast he done all kinds of skating and playing games. When it was time to leave Zach looked at me and said "Why didnt my brother Alex come to my party" and I told him I had no idea cause earlier that day I heard Alex with my own ears and he told Zach I promise I will be there for your birthday. It broke Zach's heart that Alex was not there. Well this morning Alex pulled a fast one on me. I had no idea that Jason my hubby had told Alex that he was going to skip wrestling practice and go to Zach's birthday party. I didnt know that until Jason got to the party after he got off work. Well before we left the skate rink Jason had to tend to a boy that hurt his ankle out on the skate floor and no he was not with the party. We got in the Jeep to leave and Zach starts crying and I am asking why are you crying and he says cause bubba lied to me and told me he promised he would be there. Well we get home and Alex' mammal calls and asks if we have seen or heard from Alex and of course we haven't. She said well I dropped him off at his wrestling practice and no this is not any school associated wrestling practice he has gotten into a group called WWA (World Wrestling Alliance) and he is only 13. Well his mammal went to that house and hollered for him but one of the guys came out and said no hes not here some girl picked him up. Well as soon as she got back home he calls and says mammal come pick me up I am at the house you dropped me off. Well he lied to her and he wont admit it. Well his mammal called here and said he is at that house and Jason said I will go get him and you know that was not going to be good at all. It was not good he came in and apologized to zach it wasnt a sincere apology either. Well the rest of the night was very touchy. Well the next day Jason called Alex' mom and we found out why he has been coming here was to get a ride to practice we didnt know that his mom told him she didnt want him wrestling so she was not taking him to practice. Well we know now cause Jason told Alex that he is not to ask for a ride to wrestling practice from us again.

I will post something tomorrow!

I am just trying to get started its a little rough just bare with me. =)
